I purchased this bassinet for my second daughter and found it an absolute godsend! It is has a lovely simple look and saved me getting out of bed during those early months of night feeds. I recommend doing a deep dive on the bednest website to check it out completely. The first photos are of the actual bassinet and the last few are from their website. This bednest is coming up 11 years old, although was only used for 1 child and is in great condition. The mattress and carry bag is included in price although you can purchase new mesh sides (recommended on the site), and mattresses directly from bednest. I also notice that they now sell safety straps which I do not have. I am not 100% sure which mattress it is as they may have changed since I purchased mine - but the description from the time of purchase was " of coconut coir bound in latex, wrapped in wool held together in cotton - all in a removable, washable cotton cover." The bassinet can be freestanding or alongside your bed, it can also be just used on the floor if you are heading away. One of the main things I loved about it was the ability to adjust the stand to help with reflux. From the website.... A Bednest is made of high-quality birch, remarkable are its bend wooden parts. This ensures the unique appearance of a Bednest. The wood used is FSC certified and has a water-based lacquer coat. Our co-sleeper is manufactured in Europe. The breathable sides are washable and can be folded down on both sides. The frame height is adjustable in over 70 different positions and in addition may be set under an angle. Ideal in case your child has reflux or a cold! The Bednest can be used in combination with all beds such as a box spring or slatted of which the top of the mattress lies between 42 cm and 78 cm. Measurements of the box are 89.4 cm x 51.5 cm x 27 cm with a total weight of about 17kg
