Our client is expanding their truck workshop, with multiple sites across Auckland, they are looking to add skilled Diesel Mechanics to their team. About the Role: You'll be responsible for servicing, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on our fleet of trucks and trailers. Your positive attitude, versatility in the workshop, and strong fault-finding skills will be key to keeping our operations running smoothly. This is a Monday to Friday role, with occasional Saturday work as needed. You'll be working alongside a fantastic team of experienced mechanics, apprentices, and support staff. Key Responsibilities * Diagnose faults and test components using advanced diagnostic tools * Perform servicing, repairs, and preventative maintenance on heavy diesel trucks and trailers * Maintain accurate records of all work completed * Review and inspect work orders to ensure top-quality standards are met What We're Looking For * Qualified Diesel Mechanic with hands-on experience * Strong knowledge of road transport equipment maintenance * Experience with fleet and tanker maintenance is a plus * Committed to safety, precision, and operational efficiency * Excellent time management and organizational skills * A valid Class 5 driver's license is preferred If you're a team player with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a passion for learning, we'd love to hear from you!
