In 1964 he was elected a Life Fellow of the Royal Society of Artists, one of the four Americans so honoured that year. His one-man shows have ranged from Canada to Sydney, Australia, including the Frye Museum in Seattle, the Victoria Museum in British Columbia, the Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts in Montgomery, Alabama, and the University of San Francisco. In 1971 he will have his first New York one-man showing at the Lynn Kottler Galleries (who also represent John Martin, Leon Kroll, George Mathieu and Rene Magritte). Awards include the first in oil at the National Shakespeare Art Exhibit in Oregon; the Palo Alto Annual: the Mother Lode Annual: the San Mateo County Annual; the West Coast Painters Annual at Seattle’s Frye Museum ($250 non-purchase prize); the southwestern Painters Annual in Tucson, Arizona; Marin Society of Artists; Diablo Art Festival and the Art Fair at Bay Fair. His work is hung extensively in private collections throughout the United States and Canada ... **Here is an opportunity to buy something different!**
