About Us We’re a leading manufacturer of timber frame and truss systems, supplying precision-engineered structures for residential and commercial projects. Our team takes pride in delivering accuracy, reliability, and service excellence — helping builders & architects bring their designs to life. The Opportunity We’re looking for a Timber Structure Estimator to join our growing team. This role is ideal for either: • An experienced estimator who wants to continue developing their technical skills, or • A qualified or ex-builder looking for a change of pace and a long-term career off the tools, or • A trainee with a solid understanding of construction who wants to stay in the industry without battling the weather every day. If you enjoy reading plans, solving practical problems, and being part of a supportive team that values precision and quality — we’d love to hear from you. Key Responsibilities • Interpret architectural and structural drawings to prepare accurate quotations for timber frames, trusses, and floor systems. • Use specialist MiTek software to produce material estimates and layouts. • Work closely with builders, designers, and our production team to clarify details and ensure jobs are correctly specified. • Maintain a high standard of accuracy and efficiency across all work. • Support continuous improvement across estimating and manufacturing processes. About You You might be an experienced estimator, or a builder looking for a new challenge — either way, you’ll bring: • A solid understanding of building and construction methods. • Ability to read and interpret building plans. • Strong attention to detail and pride in getting things right. • Good communication and teamwork skills. • Familiarity with estimating or design software (MiTek, Pryda, Multinail) is an advantage, but training will be provided for the right person. Why Join Us? • Excellent team culture with ongoing support and mentoring. • Secure, long-term role with opportunities for growth and skill development. • Competitive pay and training provided. • Modern, well-equipped manufacturing environment. • A genuine chance to stay in the building industry — without the mud, rain, or ladders.
